Our weather has been crazy the past week. Started off with storms and cool weather. We had crazy high winds and a lot of damage in our area and the power went out for like 6 hours at my house. My mom didnt lose power at all and some lost it for 48hrs. The kids and I got in the closet, I thought our windows were going to shatter. Luckily that passed quickly and there was no tornado in our town. However, there was a tornado in two towns over and a father and his 3 year old son lost their lives. There was a total of 6 lives lost that night. Such a tragedy. Then this weekend it was record high hot!!! It was nearly 90 here in North Ga this past weekend. The high around this time is usually upper 70s. Now tonight, another storm system is coming through with more warnings of cloud to ground lightning, hail and damaging wind. O'boy!

We had some mild thunderstorms Saturday night and then yesterday was in the mid-70's all day and really humid. For Minnesota - that's a bit unusual this early in the spring. Luckily, no tornadoes near us.
