Mommy of Ty Designs

Mommy of Ty Designs is a husband and wife team that design and create custom vinyl wall decals. Their son Ty, is the inspiration behind this shop. They are new to the Etsy world and off to a great start! I love the vinyl wall decals because they are easy to put up and easy to take down if you want to change something or go with a different theme! Quick, easy and a great price from this shop. Here are a few of my favorite designs but truely...I love them all.

How fabulous would this decal in your daughters room?

Very classy. Would work in nursery or a teens room or heck, even an adult room.

Another one that would be great in any room. Would make a great Mothers Day or Fathers Day gift!

I told you Mommy of Ty Design had some really great decals! They were so amazing to work with and made something for Presley Kates room that was perfect! I always tell my kids that "I love them to the moon and back" so this is only fitting in her room with of course an owl. My favorite thing about it, other than how easy it was to put up, is the little moon and stars in the owls belly. How adorable right!!!

Evie n Lizzie is a fabulous Etsy shop I wanted to tell you about. Rachel, the shop owner, grew up over 8,000 miles from her husband. He was in India, she was in USA. They are now married and have twin three year olds, Evie and Lizzie, and a little boy who is two. As you can imagine she gets her inspiriation from her girls. She makes the cutest pillowcase dresses and tunics as well as ruffle bottom pants and bloomers. Even a few cute things for your little guy too!!! Here are a few of my favorite things.

Evie n Lizzie was so kind and sent Presley the pink bandana dress with black ruffle bottom pants. And let me tell you, it is so adorable!!! I took her to the store with me yesterday wearing it and everyone stopped and asked where I got it. Of course, I sent them right to this fantastic corner of Etsy!!! Rachel was so amazing to work with and have no doubt I will work with her again!!! (and look how grown up my little girl looks!)

Weather and Winners

Our weather has been crazy the past week. Started off with storms and cool weather. We had crazy high winds and a lot of damage in our area and the power went out for like 6 hours at my house. My mom didnt lose power at all and some lost it for 48hrs. The kids and I got in the closet, I thought our windows were going to shatter. Luckily that passed quickly and there was no tornado in our town. However, there was a tornado in two towns over and a father and his 3 year old son lost their lives. There was a total of 6 lives lost that night. Such a tragedy. Then this weekend it was record high hot!!! It was nearly 90 here in North Ga this past weekend. The high around this time is usually upper 70s. Now tonight, another storm system is coming through with more warnings of cloud to ground lightning, hail and damaging wind. O'boy!

American Idol and a Reminder!

Have ya'll been watching American Idol? I started watching again this year and I love it! There are so many good ones on there its really hard to choose a favorite. Here are a few of mine!

April is Autism Awareness Month!!!

Autism afftects 1 in 110 children. 1 in 70 boys! Those are crazy numbers. We need to find answers and to do this we have to raise awareness for it. Autism Speaks is an amazing website that raises awareness and money for the cause. There you will also find a lot of information on Autism and ways for you to get involved with the organization!
