Heidi's Nook

Before starting this school year I started doing some research on things that can help Peyton focus on his school work. Thats when I came across Heidi's Nook. In her shop you can find weighted lap blankets that can help children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder as well as learning disabilities focus on doing their home work. I have even read that the weighted lap blankets can help a child when out to dinner with the family or at the dentist. Here are a few things you can find in her shop.
Firemen Fabric for the lap blankets

Adorable quilts the will make you the talk of the shower!

Fun fabric for girls for a lap blanket!

How adorable is this for a lap blanket.

Heidi's Nook was so generous and sent us our own Alien's weighted lap blanket. Because of Peytons size we went with a 4lb blanket but she can make them 1-8lbs. As soon as we opened the box Peyton had to try it out. He doesnt really get that it is helping him but he thinks its pretty cool to get to lay it in his lap while doing school work. I think next time we go out to dinner we will be taking this new blanket with us to try out.

Heidi's Nook would love to work with you and she is offering the first FIVE Magical Memories follower FREE SHIPPING on their entire order when you use the code MAGICAL at checkout
!!! This offer will expire on Sept 15th. Hurry up and take advantage of this sale! Get a jump start on Christmas. I am sure you know someone who is struggling and could use any assistance such as a weighted lap blanket, right?

  1. My middle daughter is in Fifth grade and suffers from ADHD. Writing for school has always been tough for her but I think we have a word processor that works for her, it’s called INK
